In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Elk River Elks volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the St. Cloud Tech Tigers.

The Elks (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Rogers (Rogers, MN). The Royals come into the non-league battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Rogers achieved victory over Russell-Tyler-Ruthton (Tyler, MN), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Tigers clash with the Apollo Eagles (St. Cloud, MN) in a Central Lakes battle, on Tuesday, September 15. St. Cloud Tech will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 1-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Sartell-St. Stephen (Sartell, MN).
