Springfield Catholic Fighting Irish (Springfield, MO) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Aurora Houn Dawgs (Aurora, MO), 6-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Springfield Catholic upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Fighting Irish host Bolivar (Bolivar, MO) to battle the Liberators in a Central Ozarks - Small test on Tuesday, April 28. The Liberators come into the test with a record of 8-6.
With the defeat, Aurora falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Houn dawgs host Logan-Rogersville (Rogersville, MO) to play the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Monday, April 20. The Wildcats enter the battle with a record of 4-0. Logan-Rogersville won 9-8 in their recent league battle against Bolivar (Bolivar, MO)
