From Park Hill DAC, the LSN Broncos beat the PHS Panthers 21-7 Both teams had first year head coaches but it was Jamar Mozee who bested Mike Sharp in the season opener on the road. The Broncos did it in the air to start the scoring with a 32 yard pass from #4 Nate Webb to #18 Dieon Lee in the first quarter. The Panthers answered in the final seconds of the first half with a 5 yard run by #3 Jake Springer. But the second half belonged to the Broncos with the two-headed runningback tandem of #24 Chase Swisher who scored in the third off a 10 yard run and #2 Tori Hicks Jr. who capped a 148 yard night on 18 carries with a 50 yard TD run in the fourth quarter to ice it. LSN 1-0 takes on Winnetonka in their home opener next week, while Park Hill South heads on the road to take on Lee's Summit West.
