The Lathrop Mules the host Lexington Minutemen softball squad by a final score of 4-2 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Mules (9-0) will now prepare for their battle against East Buchanan (Gower, MO). The Bulldogs go into the non-league battle with a 2-2 record.

The Minutemen now possess a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Holden for a Class 2 District 13 battle on Wednesday, September 21.
