Kossuth Aggies (Kossuth, MS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Falkner Eagles (Falkner, MS), 77-63 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Kossuth upgrades its record to 4-11 on the season. The Aggies travel to Hatley (Amory, MS) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-15. Hatley lost 69-55 in their recent non-league bout against Smithville (Smithville, MS)

Next up, the Eagles battle the Thrasher Rebels (Booneville, MS) in a 1A Region 1 challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Falkner will attempt to improve on its 2-13 season record.
