The Amory Panthers the host Hamilton Lions softball squad by a count of 6-3 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Panthers (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Itawamba Agricultural (Fulton, MS). The Indians go into the 4A Region 1 battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, Itawamba Agricultural nudged New Site (Booneville, MS), 15-0, in a non-league battle.

The Lions now sport a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Houlka for a 1A Region 4 battle on Tuesday, April 5. Hamilton will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 13-6 league loss to Smithville (Smithville, MS). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-5.
