The Tigers now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tupelo for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 5. Hernando will battle a Golden Wave squad coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Caledonia (Caledonia, MS). The Golden Wave record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Southaven falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Chargers host Lewisburg (Olive Branch, MS) to battle the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 4. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 0-3. Lewisburg lost 11-1 in their recent non-league challenge against South Panola (Batesville, MS)
