Augusta Elks (Augusta, MT) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Cascade Badgers (Cascade, MT), 63-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Augusta upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Elks travel to Centerville (Sand Coulee, MT) to play the Miners in a C District 8 bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Miners go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Centerville won 57-54 in their recent league bout against Fort Benton (Fort Benton, MT)

Next up, the Badgers play the Fort Benton Longhorns (Fort Benton, MT) in a C District 8 bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Cascade will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Longhorns go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 57-54 league loss to Centerville (Sand Coulee, MT).
