Beaverhead County Beavers (Dillon, MT) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Butte Bulldogs (Butte, MT), 58-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Beaverhead County upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Beavers travel to Corvallis (Corvallis, MT) to play the Blue Devils in a A Southwestern bout on Tuesday, January 6. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 2-2.

Next up, the Bulldogs face the Skyview Falcons (Billings, MT) in a AA Eastern game, on Tuesday, January 6. Butte will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Falcons enter the game with a 4-2 record after their 78-67 non-league win over Billings Central Catholic (Billings, MT).
