The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Apex Cougars (Apex, NC) and the visiting Cary Imps (Cary, NC), saw Apex's volleyball squad beat Cary by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Apex upgrades its record to 11-2 on the year. The Cougars host Panther Creek (Cary, NC) to play the Catamount in a 4A Tri-Nine bout on Tuesday, September 25. The Catamount go into the bout with a record of 4-9.

The Imps now own a 8-6 record. They play next when they host Fuquay-Varina for a 4A Tri-Nine bout on Tuesday, September 25.
