North Dakota High School Basketball - Killdeer nips Flasher
Killdeer Cowboys (Killdeer, ND) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Flasher Bulldogs (Flasher, ND), 47-46 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Killdeer upgrades its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Cowboys host Beach (Beach, ND) to play the Buccaneers in a B Region 7 bout on Friday, January 19. The Buccaneers come into the bout with a record of 6-1. Beach won 73-30 in their recent league bout against Richardton-Taylor (Richardton, ND)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Standing Rock Warriors (Fort Yates, ND) in a B Region 5 District 9 bout, on Friday, January 19. Flasher will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 83-66 non-league win over Mobridge-Pollock (Mobridge, SD).
