The Pender Pendragons basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the host Homer Knights to 27 in the Pendragons non-league victory on Thursday.

The Pendragons now sport a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Winside for a non-league contest on Friday, February 9. Pender will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 53-44 non-league win over Stanton (Stanton, NE). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-10.

The Knights (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Ponca (Ponca, NE). The Indians come into the non-league contest with a 16-1 record. In their last contest, Ponca was routed by Wynot (Wynot, NE), 38-37, in a non-league contest.
