The crowd at Saturday's league bout between the Gering Bulldogs (Gering, NE) and the visiting Alliance Bulldogs (Alliance, NE), saw Gering's volleyball squad beat Alliance by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Gering upgrades its record to 9-12 on the year. The Bulldogs host Scottsbluff (Scottsbluff, NE) to play the Bearcats in a B District 8 bout on Thursday, October 15. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 10-13.

The Bulldogs now own a 10-15 record. They play next when they travel to Mitchell for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 10. Alliance will play a Tigers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Morrill (Morrill, NE). The Tigers record now stands at 16-4.
