The Chase County Longhorns topped the visiting Maxwell Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Longhorns now have a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southwest for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 4. Chase County will confront a Roughriders team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Alma (Alma, NE). The Roughriders record now stands at 11-7.

The Wildcats (8-9) will now prepare for their test against Hitchcock County USD (Trenton, NE). The Falcons enter the non-league test with a 13-0 record. In their last test, Hitchcock County USD gained a win over Wauneta-Palisade (Wauneta, NE), 3-0, in a non-league test.
