The St. Edward Beavers volleyball team (St. Edward, NE), went down 2-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Elba Bluejays (Elba, NE)

The Bluejays (4-4) will now prepare for their bout against North Loup-Scotia (Scotia, NE). The Wildcats go into the D2 District 8 bout with a 3-6 record. In their last bout, North Loup-Scotia was outscored by Burwell (Burwell, NE), 2-1, in a non-league bout.

The Beavers now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to High Plains for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 22. St. Edward will play a Storm squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Sutton (Sutton, NE). The Storm record now stands at 4-4.
