Antioch Christian Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Cornerstone Christian Academy was led to victory by Jaylen Bennett and Joseph Lemmon. Bennett scored 21 points, while Lemmon scored 33 points. The game was Lemmon's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Erby, who scored five points.
Antioch Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Cornerstone Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 6-2 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.
Antioch Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against Mintz Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mintz Christian Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Antioch Christian Academy in North Carolina (Mintz Christian Academy is ranked 140th, while Antioch Christian Academy is ranked 352nd).
