The Mid-Moore Christian Tornados will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Stillwater S Spartans at 7:30 p.m. on February 9th. Mid-Moore Christian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 480 points over their last seven games.
Mid-Moore Christian stacked an 18th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They blew past Family of Faith Christian 70-44. Given Mid-Moore Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 111th, while Family of Faith Christian is ranked 444th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for T. Gaddis, who scored 23 points. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was N. Moore, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, sadly, Stillwater S is still looking for their first win of the season after eight matches. They had to suffer through a rough 80-15 loss at the hands of Crossover Prep.
Mid-Moore Christian's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.8 points per game. As for Stillwater S, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
Everything came up roses for Mid-Moore Christian against Stillwater S in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 as the squad secured a 89-41 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mid-Moore Christian since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
