Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Nease Panthers walked away with it. They took down the Buccaneers 59-43 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Nease also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2022.
Jack Sullivan continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 21 points along with three blocks. He hasn't dropped below three blocks for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Ryan Gornto, who scored 16 points.
Nease is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season. As for First Coast, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 15-9 record this season.
Nease didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 53-45 defeat vs. Oakleaf on the 8th. First Coast does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
