Farmersville is 0-7-1 against Anna since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Farmersville Farmers will head out on the road to challenge the Anna Coyotes at 11:30 a.m. Farmersville's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
Farmersville traveled a rocky road last season, and unfortunately for them the road hasn't gotten any smoother. They were the victim of a tough 7-1 loss at the hands of Celina on Friday.
Meanwhile, Anna's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They skirted past Celina 3-2.
Anna was led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Desmar Marroquin and
Sebastian Griman, who scored all three of Anna's goals. The pair have combined for a total of 11 so far this season.
Farmersville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5-1. As for Anna, their win bumped their record up to 5-7-1.
Farmersville came up short against Anna in their previous matchup back in March of 2023, falling 3-1. Can Farmersville avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
