For Yorktown, this counts as revenge for the 54-46 loss Wapahani walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.
Kieran Tewari continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points along with six assists and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Grim, who scored 11 points along with seven assists and two steals.
When it comes to explaining why Wapahani lost, one person who can't be blamed is Isaac Andrews. Despite the final result, he scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Andrews is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. Nate Luce was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Yorktown has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Wapahani, their loss dropped their record down to 12-1.

The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Delta is ranked 44th, while Yorktown is ranked 60th). As for Wapahani, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Randolph Southern at 7:30 p.m. Randolph Southern has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 21.
