Winnfield took down Holy Savior Menard 62-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
The Tigers led 2A District 3 in scoring this week after putting up 62 points on the Eagles.
Many's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Xavier Dias threw for 36 and one touchdown and Carson Mcmanus had 20 yards receiving. On the ground Cortez Sweet chipped in 138 yards. Chris Hopkins helped Many's passing attack out by catching one ball for 16 yards.
Many's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Tigers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Dias has thrown for 674 yards and seven touchdowns this season, while Hopkins has 11 catches for 323 yards. Sweet leads the league in rushing with 918 yards.
The Tigers' Sweet needs only 82 yards against St. Mary next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Winnfield takes on Red River. Andy Pyles' team is in first place, while the Bulldogs are in fourth place.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Tigers take on Red River. Winnfield has allowed 52 points this season, while Reginald Prealow's team has given up 167. The Tigers allowed 0 points last week as they topped Holy Savior Menard.
Freddie Hallman's team made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,879 from 7,517. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 62-0 victory over the Eagles last week.
