The Springdale Prep Lions can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 68-32 win over DuVal.
Springdale Prep found their leader in underclassman Sam Poole 2026, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds. Poole 2026 has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Samayria Burrison, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds.
Springdale Prep's win bumped their record up to 13-10. As for DuVal, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Springdale Prep won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Varsity Opponent at 9:00 a.m. on December 10th. Varsity Opponent is hoping to put an end to a nine-game streak of away losses. As for DuVal, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northwestern at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
