The Braden River Pirates's game on Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They blew past Shorecrest Prep 34-6 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Braden River has posted since November 28, 2023.
Braden River was led to victory by Kelis Mcgrady and Emily Dalton. Mcgrady scored four points along with ten rebounds and three steals, while Dalton scored ten points along with nine rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Trinity Myrick, who scored four points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Braden River's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Shorecrest Prep, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
Braden River won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Winthrop College Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 18th. As for Shorecrest Prep, they will head out on the road to challenge Countryside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
