Despite the defeat, Alonso saw an underclassman step up: Aliya Hannah scored 10 points. Hannah scored a full 50% of Alonso's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Willamina Most was another key contributor, scoring 6 points.
Jennie Gutman continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Robinson, scoring 24 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 blocks. The match was Gutman's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Annie Keith, who scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds and 6 steals.
Alonso's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Robinson, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alonso's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Armwood at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th.
