Blountstown had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Bay on Monday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Tornadoes with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Tornadoes: they've now won seven in a row.

While Blountstown might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Bay scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-23, 25-18.

Cyianna Smith paced Blountstown's offense, picking up 17 kills. Smith got some help from Mackenzie Bellamy and her 17 assists. Ashton Blackburn controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Blountstown now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Bay, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
