The Hugoton Eagles are taking a road trip to  challenge the Cimarron Bluejays  on Thursday. Hugoton has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the  contest with 17 straight  defeats, while Cimarron will come in with six straight  victories.

At the plate,  Dohrmann  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 2-for-4, while  Gordon  scored two  runs while going 1-for-3. Dohrmann has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last four times he's  played.
 In other batting news,  Breck Averhoff was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with one  home run and four  RBI. He is  on a roll when it comes to  RBI, as he's  now  brought in three or more in each of the last four games he's  played.
 Cimarron's win was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 6-2. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Hugoton, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
 Hugoton might still be hurting after the  12-6 loss they got from Cimarron  in their previous matchup  back in May of 2024. Can the Eagles avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
