Glenvar were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. Everything came up roses for them against Alleghany on Friday as the squad secured a 49-7 win. That result was just more of the same for Glenvar, who also won the last time these teams played.
Glenvar added further sheen to their flawless record, now 7-0. Alleghany are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-6.
Next week Glenvar take on Floyd County at Floyd County High School at 7:00 PM. Floyd County are limping into the match on a five-game losing streak. As for Alleghany, they will face off against James River. Alleghany's defense better steel itself: James River are averaging 33.67 points per game.
