Batavia (Ill.) notched 13 points on top of its 22-point lead going into the fourth quarter to win against Rolling Meadows (Ill.) 48-13.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by
Kevin Green in the first quarter, the Bulldogs led 21-6 at the half.
Batavia grew its lead to 22 points entering the fourth quarter. BHS scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by
Anthony Scaccia.
The loss snapped Rolling Meadows' four-game winning streak.
Micah Coffey was the top performer for the Bulldogs. The senior quarterback threw two touchdowns and ran for one touchdown. He has now scored eight touchdowns on the season.
Batavia went into the matchup giving up only 15.3 points per game.
