Indianapolis HomeSchool Wildcats fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against the Columbus HomeSchool Hawks on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 87-84. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Kaden Greenlee was his usual excellent self, scoring 36 points along with five assists and two steals for Columbus HomeSchool. Greenlee also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Nat Farnsley, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Indianapolis HomeSchool Wildcats' loss dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Columbus HomeSchool, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-6.
Indianapolis HomeSchool Wildcats will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against the Lions at 3:00 p.m. on February 3rd. As for Columbus HomeSchool, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Panthers at 7:30 p.m.
