It was a good run, but Hondo unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tournament Opponent.

While Hondo ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-18.

Hondo's loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Hondo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Fox Tech on the 16th. As for Tournament Opponent, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Mingo Valley Christian on the 16th.
