After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Clearview, Medina Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the St. Martin de Porres Lions as they made off with a 16-6 victory. The Knights' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Addison Wolf was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off seven hits. Wolf was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Eliza Kinney was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Lydia Young, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs and two RBI.
