West Ottawa had lost six games straight , but after bumping their record up to 3-6 on Friday that streak is in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Forest Hills Central Rangers as they made off with an 11-2 victory. That nine run margin sets a new team best for the Panthers this season.

As for Forest Hills Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. Their loss continues a trend for the squad, making it seven in a row.

For Forest Hills Central's part, Karianna Wierenga was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run. Another player making a difference was Priya Mahair, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Looking ahead, West Ottawa will welcome Holland Christian at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday. As for Forest Hills Central, they will venture away from home to challenge Ottawa Hills at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
