After having lost a blowout in their previous game against McQuaid Jesuit, Aquinas Institute was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Bishop Kearney Kings with a sharp 28-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Little Irish, who have now won seven contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Aquinas Institute is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Bishop Kearney, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.

Coming up, Aquinas Institute will head out to take on Canandaigua Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bishop Kearney, they will welcome Franklin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
