The Piper Pirates were the 26-23 winner over the Eudora Cardinals when they last played one another back in September of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. Piper took a 28-14 bruising from Eudora on Friday. Piper just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.
Jack Bakarich threw for 78 yards and a touchdown. Tannar McDaniel was his top target, picking up 47 receiving yards. On the ground, Zane Pudenz rushed for 31 yards.
Piper has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Eudora, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Piper does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Eudora will face off against Atchison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Atchison will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
