Soccer Recap: Tomball Has No Trouble Against College Park

With a playoff win on the line, Tomball rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the College Park Cavaliers. Considering Tomball have won eight contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit College Park with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Chuckie Murray, Avery Kelley, and Macie Thurman.

Tomball is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-2-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those six matches. College Park's defeat dropped their record down to 16-9-1.

Tomball wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Forney on the 28th. College Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
