In what's become a running theme this season, the Balko Bison gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They breezed by Vici on the road to the tune of 57-25. The victory was nothing new for Balko as they're now sitting on four straight.
Balko's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kelby Sager led the charge by scoring eight points along with six rebounds. Sager continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Halle Littau, who scored 14 points along with two steals.
Balko is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Vici, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.
Balko won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Boise City on January 19th. One thing working in Boise City's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three contests. Vici on the road again on Saturday and play against Sayre on January 20th.
