Littlestown got themselves on the board against Hanover on Friday, but Hanover never followed suit. They blew past the Nighthawks 15-0. With that victory, the Thunderbolts brought their scoring average up to 7.8 runs per game.
Hannah Barthel and Alexis Stonesifer did most of the damage at the plate: Barthel fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-2, while Stonesifer fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-3. Those home runs were Stonesifer's first of the season. Keira Miller was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-2.
They weren't the only ones working in the hit department: Littlestown kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hanover only managed one hit.
The win got Littlestown back to even at 2-2. As for Hanover, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
