After taking the lead on a punt return touchdown by
Cody Campbell in the first quarter,
Emporia (Kan.) led 35-10 at the half.
The Spartans expanded their lead to 33 points entering the fourth quarter. Emporia scored two times in the third, including once on a
Tanner Taylor touchdown pass to Campbell.
EHS came in allowing an average of 20.0 points per game this season.
The win was a nice bounce back for the Spartans, who lost to Andover last week, 28-21.
