It was a good run, but the Twin Falls Bruins unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 48-47 to Canyon Ridge. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Twin Falls of the 61-55 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in January.
Kade Mcentire was his usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with four steals for Canyon Ridge. Mcentire hasn't dropped below 15 points for five straight games. Conner Willis was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Twin Falls' defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-8. As for Canyon Ridge, they pushed their record up to 14-5 with that win, which was their sixth straight on the road.
Twin Falls will be playing at home against the Diamondbacks at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Canyon Ridge, they will head out on the road to square off against the Wolverines at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Wood River has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
