Make it 12 blowout wins for the Cypress Springs Panthers this season. They breezed by Bridgeland on the road to the tune of 83-33. The victory was nothing new for Cypress Springs as they're now sitting on 18 straight.
Cypress Springs was led to victory by Jemini Mitchell and Ayla Mcdowell. Mitchell scored 24 points along with eight rebounds and four steals, while Mcdowell dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds. Mcdowell hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for ten straight games. Kameryn Howard was another key contributor, scoring four points along with eight rebounds and seven assists.
Cypress Springs pushed their record up to 20-2 with that victory, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Bridgeland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-12.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cypress Springs will take on Cypress Park at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Cypress Park has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 18. As for Bridgeland, they will be playing at home against Langham Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Langham Creek focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 last Wednesday.
