Last Tuesday, Au Gres-Sims had to suffer through a rough 65-27 loss at the hands of Hale. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Au Gres-Sims in their matchups with Hale: they've now lost four in a row.
Meanwhile, Atlanta was beaten by Hillman 82-18 on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Atlanta can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 754th, while Hillman is ranked 282nd).
Au Gres-Sims has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season. As for Atlanta, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.
