At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ben Burleson, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs and one RBI. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Chance Strausbaugh was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Bishop Watterson pushed their record up to 9-2-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games. As for Bishop Hartley, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Bishop Watterson skirted past Bishop Hartley 3-1 in their previous meeting last Wednesday. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
