Basketball Recap: Heath Wins Going Away Against Linden-Mckinley

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Heath on Monday. They took down the Linden-McKinley Panthers 42-24. That 18 point margin sets a new team best for the Bulldogs this season.

Heath can attribute much of their success to Peyton Del Cecato, who posted 11 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. Del Cecato has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ansley Harbage, who had seven points and five rebounds.

Heath was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The win made it two in a row for Heath and bumps their season record up to 3-6. As for Linden-McKinley, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.

Heath wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 50-37 loss against Central Crossing on the 4th. As for Linden-McKinley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 39-23 victory against Independence on the 3rd.
