Meanwhile, even though Miami Beach scored an imposing 64 points on Tuesday, American still came out on top. American took down Miami Beach 80-64.
American had a senior duo take command as Quentin Bush scored 24 points along with six assists and three steals and Kennith Johnson scored 14 points along with six rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bush has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Derrius Black, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds.
West Broward has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season. As for American, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-8.
