After four games on the road, Bishop is heading back home. They will take on the San Ysidro Cougars at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

 Meanwhile, while San Ysidro put up plenty of  runs on Monday, the same  can't be said for Borrego Springs. Everything went San Ysidro's way against Borrego Springs as San Ysidro made off with  an  18-0 victory. That 18 run margin sets a new team best for San Ysidro this season.
 Like Bishop's, San Ysidro also got a great game from a two-way player:  Victoria Figueroa. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. Figueroa has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in 16 consecutive pitching appearances. Figueroa was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in all five of her plate appearances.
 In other batting news, San Ysidro got a  massive  performance out of  Sophia Maldonado, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all five of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Bryanna Ortiz, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.
 Bishop's has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won eight of their last nine contests,  which provided a massive bump to their 13-6 record  this season. As for San Ysidro, their win bumped their record up to 14-11.
