KIPP Nashville Collegiate was beaten by the Cobras 83-54 on Friday. KIPP Nashville Collegiate has not had much luck with the Cobras recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Leading Whites Creek to victory were Malachi Benton and Kevin Wiggins. Benton scored 18 points along with two steals, while Wiggins dropped a double-double on 20 points and 15 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wiggins has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Noah Hughes, who scored eight points along with three steals.
KIPP Nashville Collegiate's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Whites Creek, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-5.
KIPP Nashville Collegiate will head out on the road to take on the at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Holloway comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Whites Creek, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Spartans at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Stratford is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
