Laurel-Concord-Coleridge waltzed into their contest  on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Humphrey-Lindsay Bulldogs by a score of  2-0. The Bears were shut out  2-0 the last time they took on the Bulldogs, so the Bears were just returning the favor.
 Laurel-Concord-Coleridge easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19,  25-14.
 Rena Rasmussen paced Laurel-Concord-Coleridge's offense, picking up ten kills. Rasmussen got some help from  Carlie Kvols and her 20 assists.  Taelynn Settje controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Laurel-Concord-Coleridge's win bumped their record up to 23-3. As for Humphrey-Lindsay,  the  loss snapped their winning streak at three matches  and leaves them with a 12-14 record.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming  matches. Laurel-Concord-Coleridge will venture away from home to  challenge Cedar Catholic  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Humphrey-Lindsay, they will head out to  take on Lutheran-Northeast  on Tuesday.
