The Nebraska Lutheran Knights posted their closest win yet this season on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past College View Academy 40-37. The win made it back-to-back wins for Nebraska Lutheran.
It was another big night for Rebecca Hueske, who scored 19 points along with six steals. Hueske is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Tenley Williamson, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Nebraska Lutheran now has a winning record of 6-5. As for College View Academy, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
Nebraska Lutheran will take on East Butler at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. East Butler is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. College View Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Boys Town on January 29th.
