Tri-Valley saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Steubenville.

Among those leading the charge was Gracie Olinger, who had 13 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played.
Olinger wasn't the only good servers: Tri-Valley was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. The Scotties are 15-1 when they serve at least ten aces.
Meanwhile, Dover got the win against New Philadelphia on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0.
One reason for the win was Dover's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-17, 25-14.
Tri-Valley's record now sits at 18-5. As for Dover, their record is now 21-2.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's contest: Tri-Valley has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 12.3 aces per game. However, it's not like Dover struggles in that department as they've been averaging 10.4 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Tri-Valley suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Dover in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Scotties avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
