For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Lincoln and Le Mars have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Lynx skirted past the Bulldogs 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Lynx: when they faced off against the Bulldogs on Thursday, they had to take a 6-3 loss.

CJ Walton was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in June.

Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 22-10. As for Le Mars, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8.

Lincoln has already played their next matchup, a 5-1 loss against Lewis Central on the 3rd. As for Le Mars, they will host Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Someone's luck will take a turn for the better: the Bulldogs have lost four straight at home , while the NIGHTHAWKS have lost four on the road.
